New Breyer Traditional horses for 2009!

1339 Wind

This limited-edition Ethereal horse is the second in a series and is created with the same attention to detail, realistic features and quality that has earned Breyer its reputation as the makers of the world's finest model horses.

This beautiful stallion is hand-painted by Breyer's talented artists and represents one of nature's elements-wind. Each model features a stamp of the horse's name and "Ethereal Collection" on the belly. A decorative base for display and a Certificate of Authenticity are included.

1354 Mon Gamin

Show jumping champion Mon Gamin is the favourite mount of former national equitation champion Brianne Goutal. Looking more like a pinto pony than a Selle Francais that he is, Mon Gamin has wowed crowds with a multitude of recent wins where he has beaten a number of top Grand Prix horses. Put him on course with the clock ticking and what he lacks in power and stride he makes up for in cleverness and courage!

1355 Idocus

Brand New Sculpture by Sue Sifton! Courtney King-Dye and Idocus have become one of the most successful horse and rider pairs to represent the United States in the discipline of dressage. With coaching from former Olympian Lendon Gray, Idocus began living up to his potential with top placings at the Grand Prix level giving Idocus the recognition his talent and training so richly deserved.

1356 Cochise - Little Joe Cartwrights Horse

A whole generation grew up on this classic Western television series, which debuted in 1959 and ran until 1973, longer than any other Western in television history. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this iconic show, Breyer has created a portrait model of Cochise - Little Joe Cartwright's horse. Cochise was a beautiful black and white Paint horse which was a nice contrast to the buckskin, brown and chestnut horses ridden by other cast members.

1361 Rascal - Palomino

Palominos are known for their beautiful golden coloured coats and flaxen manes and tails. Palomino colouring can be found in many breeds including American Quarter Horses, Morgans, Arabians and Saddlebreds.

1363 Shasta Moon

Shasta Moon is a blue roan tobiano pinto with a magic all her own. A blue roan has a mixture of white and black hairs in its coat; in addition, roans of all shades often have solid-coloured heads. Breyer's model mare also sports white legs and spots across her back, attributes typical of a tobiano pinto.

Walter Farley's beloved classic, The Black Stallion, is a tale of a boy and his horse. Breyer's model of the legendary "Black" captures the spirit of this noble horse! Set includes a DVD of the film.

1408 Pippin

The adorable model of Pippin is the result of a Breyer competition in partnership with The Pony Club. Members were asked to nominate an extra special Pony Club horse or pony that helped them to develop one or more of the Pony Club's goals in riding and horse care. Oliver Jones wrote the winning essa abouthis beloved Pippin. Breyer will make a donation to The Pony Club for every Pippin model it sells during 2009. Pippin is a model that is exclusive to the UK
